First and foremost, you should select the agent that you believe in your heart will hold your interests and needs high above their own needs.  While I appreciate the commission I earn on each transaction you entrust to me and yes, it pays a few bills, it’s not my goal.  My goal is to earn a lifetime of referrals from you, but I can only earn that if I exceed your expectations, and completely “wow” you!  If I do that for you, then I will have earned those referrals from you.  That lifetime of referrals is my greatest passion because it cares for my family and proves I have done my job for you!  So you see, we need each other!

 

Secondly, you should select an agent who is extremely knowledgeable about their profession and seeking to always expand that knowledge.  South Carolina requires very few classroom hours of training for an agent, but this business is very complex, and the day we stop our education, we are moving backwards!  We must always remain ahead of the curve in marketing, negotiations, contracts, and most importantly, understanding human behavior!  That’s why I am constantly taking new courses and studying how buyers behave.  I understand buyer behavior well, and that has led to my remarkable success in helping sellers!

 

Lastly, which company I am associated with means very little when it comes to helping you, my client.  My company is an extremely unique one based on the value system I was taught as a child, but in the end, it is only a support tool.  Your happiness and success as a seller will come down to your relationship with your agent.  That personal relationship with you, my client, is my greatest satisfaction!
